Injection molded magnets are produced by injecting specialized pellets into precision molds. As a type of bonded magnet, they offer a broad range of performance characteristics, including enhanced heat resistance and improved magnetic properties. The injection molding process enables flexible, complex shape design, and also supports over-molding and insert-molding with other components for simplified assembly.
The advantage of injection molded magnets

• For this type of isotropic magnet, magnetization can be applied in any direction. This inherent advantage makes it ideal for manufacturing multi-pole magnets.

• Injection molded magnets feature excellent dimensional accuracy and high-volume production efficiency.

• Thin wall sections and intricate geometries can be easily achieved.

• Over-molding and insert-molding with other components (such as back yokes, hubs, and shafts) are readily achievable, and other polymer parts can also be integrated during the injection process.

The polymer binder volume fraction in injection molded magnets is higher than that in compression molded magnets. This provides sufficient corrosion resistance, eliminating the need for additional surface coatings in most applications.
