Alnico permanent magnets are alloys composed of aluminum, nickel, cobalt, iron, and other trace elements. They can be manufactured via two primary processes—casting and sintering—to produce a wide range of sizes and shapes. Compared to cast alnico, sintered alnico is typically limited to smaller dimensions, but it offers tighter dimensional tolerances, better machinability, and more consistent material uniformity, albeit with slightly lower magnetic performance.

Characteristics:

1. High crystalline density and mechanical strength

2. Excellent corrosion resistance

3. Uniform composition and superior magnetic properties

4. Excellent temperature stability

5. Maximum operating temperature up to 550°C
